Title: Platoon Artist: Vlad Rodriguez Dimensions: 36x24 inches Edition Size: AP 14/15 Production Technique: Screen Print Gallery: Private Commission
Platoon by Vlad Rodriguez is a striking limited edition movie poster that captures the visceral intensity of Oliver Stone's landmark Vietnam War film with raw, expressive force. Rendered as a meticulously crafted screen print, Rodriguez brings his distinctive visual language to one of cinema's most emotionally resonant war narratives, translating the film's themes of moral conflict and human cost into a composition that commands attention on its own artistic merits.
The 36x24 format provides an expansive canvas for Rodriguez's bold graphic sensibility, where the screen printing technique adds rich tactile depth and the kind of precise layered color that distinguishes fine art production from conventional reproduction. Vlad Rodriguez art consistently demonstrates a sophisticated understanding of cinematic iconography, and this piece is no exception — each deliberate design choice reinforces the weight and gravity of Stone's Academy Award-winning film.
This collectible art print carries particular significance as an Artist Proof, numbered 14 of just 15 impressions, placing it among the rarest examples of this edition. For serious collectors of alternative movie posters and screen print art, AP designations represent the highest tier of collectibility, offering an intimate connection to the artist's original production process and an exceptionally scarce addition to any curated collection.
